Main Line Fault Isolation Gauges

This piece of equipment is located under one of the seats in the passenger compartment of the trailer cars. It is used when isolating the trains main line air - in simple terms, it splits a three car unit in half.

This particular example is the type found on 'double ended' unit trailer cars - though similar looking equipment is fitted to 'single ended' trailer cars.
